Flowrestling is excited to announce that we will be bringing you a LIVE streaming workout tonight with world class mma fighters and former wrestlers Jake Shields and Ben Askren.  This stream will take place in San Francisco, CA and get started tonight around 7pm PST | 10pm EST.

Jake Shields is ranked as the #3 welterweight (170) fighter in the world and will make his UFC debut at UFC 121 in October.  He signed with the UFC when his contract with Strikeforce was up and he became the biggest free agent in the sport.  His UFC debut is highly anticipated and will be against Martin Kampmann who has put together an impressive string of wins which has put him near the top of the division. Although it has not been confirmed, the winner of Shields-Kampmann may very well get a title shot against the winner of current champ Georges St. Pierre and former Edinboro NCAA champion Josh Koscheck when they fight in December.

Coming to San Francisco for a week to train with Shields, Ben Askren brings his high level wrestling skills and newly acquired mma skills.  Askren was a 4x NCAA finalist, a 2x NCAA champ, 2x Hodge trophy winner and 2008 United States Olympian.  He has since turned his attention to mma and has found success quickly. After 3 warm up fights Askren entered Bellator's season 2 tournament where he upset Dan Hornbuckle in the finals to earn a title shot.  On October 21 Askren will fight season 1 Bellator winner and current champ Lyman Good for the belt.
