From the return of an All-American to key matchups against Pac-12 opponents, here are the reasons to watch Air Force's home duals live on FloWrestling this season.
A New Era Begins Under Joe Johnston
The 2026-27 season marks the start of Joe Johnston's tenure as Air Force's head coach. The Falcons will look to establish their identity under new leadership while maintaining the program's competitive standard.
Air Force opens its home dual schedule against New Mexico Highlands on Nov. 12 before welcoming a series of conference and nonconference opponents to Colorado Springs. The early home date will offer a first look at how Johnston's team performs in dual-meet competition.
Carter Nogle Returns After All-America Season
One of the biggest reasons to follow the Falcons is the return of Carter Nogle, who placed fifth at the 2026 NCAA Championships to earn All-America honors.
Nogle gives Air Force an established national contender to build around as the team enters a new season. His performance will be worth watching as the Falcons face a demanding schedule and look to carry that momentum into the postseason.
Air Force Begins Its Pac-12 Era
Air Force's 2026-27 campaign also marks its first season competing as an affiliate member of the Pac-12 Conference. The conference transition adds another storyline to the Falcons' home schedule, with duals against familiar and new conference opponents providing an early look at where the team stands.
Oregon State, Wyoming and North Dakota State are among the opponents set to visit Clune Arena. Those matchups will give Air Force important opportunities to test itself against quality competition as it works toward the Pac-12 Championships in March.
Cal Poly And Oregon State Bring Key Tests
The home schedule features two notable matchups in December and January.
Air Force will host Cal Poly on Dec. 18 before facing Oregon State on Jan. 15. Both duals will provide opportunities for the Falcons to measure their progress against conference competition as the season moves into the heart of the schedule.
Wyoming And North Dakota State Add To The Challenge
The Falcons' January home slate continues with Wyoming on Jan. 24 and North Dakota State on Jan. 30.
With conference competition becoming increasingly important as the postseason approaches, these duals will give Air Force a chance to build momentum and evaluate its lineup against additional opponents.
Senior Night Closes The Home Schedule
Air Force will host CSU Bakersfield on Feb. 7 for Senior Night, giving the Falcons one final home dual before the regular season winds down.
The matchup will provide an opportunity to recognize the team's seniors while giving Air Force a chance to finish its home schedule on a strong note. The Falcons will then turn their attention to the Pac-12 Championships, scheduled for March 4-5 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
