This year's field includes Kooper Deputy, Hayden Schwab, Israel Borge, Dean Anderson, Mac Crosson, Melvin Miller and Justus Heeg.
From Deputy's bid to return to the finals to Heeg and Miller looking to defend their Super 32 titles, these are seven wrestlers to watch at the 2026 tournament.
1. Kooper Deputy, Chestnut Ridge, Pennsylvania
Deputy enters Super 32 looking to take the final step after finishing as the runner-up in the 106-pound bracket in 2025.
The Pennsylvania standout went 52-0 during the 2025-26 high school season, winning the Pennsylvania state championship and establishing himself as one of the nation's top young wrestlers.
He also won a 16U Fargo freestyle title and finished second at the U.S. Open.
At the 2025 Super 32 Challenge, Deputy reached the championship match, but ultimately fell to Ariah Mills 4-2 in the final.
Deputy is ranked No. 2 nationally at 113 lbs.
After coming so close to winning the tournament last year, Deputy is one of the top names to watch as he moves up a weight class.
2. Hayden Schwab, Don Bosco, Iowa
Schwab is another nationally recognized wrestler who will bring significant credentials to Greensboro.
The Don Bosco standout is ranked eighth in the pound-for-pound rankings and is committed to wrestle at Northern Iowa.
Schwab's exceptional wrestling resume is anchored by his status as a two-time Iowa state champion and a perfect 30-0 junior season for Don Bosco High School.
On the national stage, he is a five-time Fargo All-American and a U17 World Team member who recently made the 2026 Fargo finals at 126 lbs.
His national standing makes him a compelling addition to the Super 32 field. The tournament will provide an opportunity to measure himself against elite competition from across the country before the regular high school season begins.
3. Israel Borge, Bixby, Oklahoma
Borge enters his senior season as one of the country's top wrestlers at 138 lbs.
The Bixby, Oklahoma, standout is ranked fourth nationally at the weight and finished the 2025-26 season with a 25-2 record.
Borge also has Super 32 experience. In 2025, he reached the 132-pound championship match, but lost to Moses Mendoza 8-3 in the final.
The move back into a nationally competitive 132-pound division adds another interesting dimension to Borge's tournament.
With a championship appearance already on his resume, he will be looking to contend again against a deep field.
4. Dean Anderson, Valiant Prep, Arizona
Anderson is a major contender at 138 lbs and a top wrestler to follow in the tournament.
The Valiant Prep senior is ranked second nationally at 138 lbs. He is also committed to Northern Iowa, giving him an opportunity to build momentum before beginning his college career.
Anderson finished as the runner-up in freestyle at 61 kg at the 2026 U.S. Open.
He also reached the semifinals at Super 32 in 2025, where he lost to Tyler Dekraker 4-1. Anderson went on to place fourth.
With another year of experience and a strong international-style wrestling result behind him, Anderson will be looking to turn that previous Super 32 run into a championship performance.
5. Mac Crosson, Indianola, Iowa
Crosson has established himself as the nation's leading wrestler at 157 lbs.
The Indianola senior is ranked No. 1 nationally at the weight and 15th in the pound-for-pound rankings. He is also committed to Nebraska.
Crosson went 26-0 during the 2025-26 high school season and finished as the runner-up in the junior freestyle division at Fargo.
His ability to carry his success into the folkstyle season will be one of the storylines to follow in Greensboro.
With a perfect high school record last season and a national ranking at the top of his weight class, Crosson has the credentials to make a deep run.
6. Melvin Miller, Bishop McCort, Pennsylvania
Miller heads into Super 32 as one of the most accomplished wrestlers in the field and a returning tournament champion.
The Bishop McCort standout won the 165-pound championship at the 2025 Super 32 Challenge, defeating Maximus Dhabolt by a 16-6 major decision in the final.
He remains one of the country's top wrestlers. Miller is ranked as the pound-for-pound best high school wrestler nationally and at his weight.
Miller is also committed to Virginia Tech, adding another milestone to an already impressive wrestling career.
With a Super 32 belt already in his colection, Miller will be the wrestler to beat as he looks to defend his championship against another deep national field.
7. Justus Heeg, Providence Catholic, Illinois
Heeg rounds out the list as another returning Super 32 champion.
The Providence Catholic wrestler won the 157-pound championship at the 2025 tournament, defeating Matthew Staples 7-0 in the final.
Heeg followed that performance with an outstanding 2025-26 high school season. He won the Illinois Class 2A state championship at 157 lbs, finishing the season with a 50-1 record.
The Illinois standout has already demonstrated that he can win against elite competition on the Super 32 stage. His ability to repeat that performance will be an intriguing storyline at the tournament.
With a returning title and a state championship behind him, Heeg will be looking to prove that last year's Super 32 victory was the beginning of an even more successful run.
