With some of the world's top under-23 wrestlers set to compete at the Thomas & Mack Center, Sinclair will look to add another international achievement to his resume as the United States competes on home soil.
When Does Aeoden Sinclair Wrestle at U23 Worlds?
Sinclair's first matches are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 16, when the 86 kg division begins competition.

- Weight class: 86 kg
- Qualification rounds: 10:30 a.m. PT (1:30 p.m. ET)
- Semifinals: 4:45 p.m. PT (7:45 p.m. ET)
- Repechage: Saturday, Oct. 17, at 10:30 a.m. PT (1:30 p.m. ET)
- Medal matches: Saturday, Oct. 17, beginning at 6 p.m. PT (9 p.m. ET)
Sinclair's exact bout time and opening opponent will be determined by the bracket, which is scheduled to be announced Thursday, Oct. 15. The qualification rounds and semifinals take place Friday, while repechage and medal matches for his weight class are scheduled for Saturday.
What Is at Stake for Aeoden Sinclair?
Sinclair enters the U23 World Championships after winning gold at the 2026 U20 World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia. Competing at 86 kg, he demonstrated his ability to battle through adversity, overcoming a six-point deficit in the semifinals before coming from behind again to win the championship.
Now, Sinclair will move up to the U23 level and face another test against international competition. A strong showing in Las Vegas would give the American another opportunity to establish himself among the world's top young freestyle wrestlers as he builds on his U20 world title.
