South Dakota State has announced its 2026-27 wrestling schedule, a slate that features several of the nation's premier regular-season tournaments, a challenging non-conference schedule and the Jackrabbits' first year of competition in the Pac-12 Conference.

The Jackrabbits open the season at home against Buffalo before hosting the Warren Williamson Daktronics Invitational in Brookings. South Dakota State will also compete at the Tiger Style Invite, Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, Soldier Salute and NWCA National Duals before beginning a demanding Pac-12 schedule in January.

South Dakota State returns three NCAA qualifiers from the 2025-26 season. Brady Roark returns, while Cael Swensen brings experience back to the lineup. Luke Rasmussen also returns after qualifying for the NCAA Championships last season.

Key Matchups On South Dakota State's Schedule

South Dakota State opens the season with a pair of home events before heading to Missouri for the Tiger Style Invite and later competing at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.

The Jackrabbits will face North Carolina in Sioux Falls on Dec. 18 before opening 2027 with appearances at the Soldier Salute and NWCA National Duals.

Conference competition begins later in January with a four-dual western road trip against Cal Poly, CSU Bakersfield, Northern Colorado and Wyoming. South Dakota State then closes the regular season with home duals against Little Rock, Northern Illinois, Oregon State and Air Force before a rivalry matchup at North Dakota State.

The Jackrabbits conclude the regular season on Feb. 21 before turning their attention to the Pac-12 Wrestling Championships and NCAA Championships in March.

When Are The NCAA Wrestling Championships 2027?

The 2027 NCAA Wrestling Championships are scheduled for March 18-20 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
