Rutgers has announced its 2026-27 wrestling schedule, a slate that includes the Journeymen WrangleMania event, the National Duals Invitational, a full Big Ten Conference schedule and several key non-conference duals throughout the season.

The Scarlet Knights open the season at Journeymen WrangleMania in Bethlehem, Pa., where they will face Long Island University and Navy. Rutgers will also host Lehigh, compete at the Keystone Classic and National Duals Invitational, and wrestle a demanding Big Ten schedule.
Rutgers returns three NCAA qualifiers from its 2025-26 NCAA Championships lineup, while adding impactful transfers in Anthony Knox, Brett Ungar and Daniel Herrera. Andrew Barbosa, Shane Cartagena-Walsh and Remy Cotton provide veteran leadership for a lineup looking to remain among the top teams in the Big Ten.

Key Matchups On Rutgers' Schedule
Rutgers begins the season with a pair of high-profile matchups against LIU and Navy at Journeymen WrangleMania before welcoming Lehigh to Jersey Mike's Arena later in November.
The Scarlet Knights' non-conference slate also includes trips to the Keystone Classic and Drexel, along with participation in the National Duals Invitational in Tulsa.
Big Ten action begins in January with a home showdown against Penn State. Rutgers will also face Nebraska, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa during conference competition.
Rutgers close the regular season out Feb. 16 against Hofstra before turning their attention towards the Big Ten and NCAA Championships.
When Are The NCAA Wrestling Championships 2027?
The 2027 NCAA Wrestling Championships are scheduled for March 18-20 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
