FRL Highlights Top Dates on the NCAA Schedule
With Division I schedules officially out, Rader shared his top five regular-season dates, pointing to stacked dual slates and major early-season events:
- Sunday, Nov. 22: Features Oklahoma State vs Stanford, Wyoming vs Oregon State, the Keystone Classic, the Black Knight Invite and the Cornell Big Red Invite.
- Sunday, Dec. 13: Highlighted by National Duals Day 2 and Penn State taking on West Virginia.

- Sunday, Feb. 21: Anchored by Iowa vs Oklahoma State, Arizona State vs Nebraska, UNI vs Wisconsin and South Dakota State vs North Dakota State in the "Battle for the Border Belt."
The crew noted that National Duals and early-season invites will provide early clarity on deep lineups before teams transition into conference schedules.

Breaking Down Oklahoma State & Penn State Schedules
The panel examined Oklahoma State's schedule under head coach David Taylor, who confirmed that the OSU Invite will serve as a primary starting point and lineup evaluator for the Cowboys.
Key weight class battles to monitor include 165 lbs, where Casey Swiderski vs LaDarion Lockett looms as a potential matchup, and 149 lbs, where Sergio Vega is expected to compete moving forward.
"His hope is for the entire team to wrestle in it," Pyles said of the OSU Invite. "It's going to set the table and be a starting point... maybe it sets their Natonal Duals lineup, and they evolve from there."
The hosts also addressed fan reactions to Penn State's non-conference schedule. While some fans critiqued the Nittany Lions for avoiding out-of-conference powerhouse duals, the panel defended Cale Sanderson’s approach to periodization and postseason preparation.
"They've found a formula, a schedule that works really well for them," Kozak said. "They're winning... why switch it up at this point?"

Joe Sealey Added to U23 World Team
The crew covered the final details of the U23 Men's Freestyle World Team roster heading into the championship event in Las Vegas, highlighting Joe Sealey's addition at 79 kg.
"I like them going with a guy that had a senior-level placement like Sealey did," Pyles said. "Even though he hadn't wrestled at the weight... I think Joe will do a good job."
The U23 World Championships kick off Oct. 12 in Las Vegas.
