Wyoming heads into the 2026-27 season looking to build on one of the most successful years in program history. The Cowboys are coming off a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Championships, the program's highest finish since 1967. Wyoming also returns All-Americans Joey Novak, Eddie Neitenbach and Christian Carroll.

The Cowboys will be tested against several of the nation's top teams throughout the season, including Oklahoma State, Iowa State and Nebraska. Those matchups, along with a demanding Big 12 slate, provide Wyoming with numerous opportunities to measure itself against elite competition before the postseason.

Here's a look at Wyoming's 2026-27 schedule and the matchups that could shape its season.

Key Matchups On Wyoming's Schedule

Wyoming opens its dual season on the road against Nebraska on Nov. 6 before traveling to Stanford and Oregon State later in November.

The Cowboys return to the National Duals Invitational on Dec. 12-13 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, along with home dates against Arizona State, West Virginia, South Dakota State and Missouri.

The regular season concludes with a road trip to Oklahoma State and Oklahoma before Wyoming turns its attention to the Big 12 Championships and NCAA Championships.

When Are The NCAA Wrestling Championships 2027?

The 2027 NCAA Wrestling Championships are scheduled for March 18-20 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
