The 2026 Final X, presented by Kerberos Capital Management, men’s freestyle 92 kg best-of-three series between 2025 World champion Trent Hidlay and 2026 U.S. Open champion Michael Macchiavello will be wrestled on Saturday, June 13 at Freedom High School in Chantilly, Va.

Round one begins at noon (ET), followed by round two at 3 p.m. (ET). If a third match is necessary, it will be wrestled 30 minutes after the conclusion of match two. The winner of this series will represent the U.S. at the 2026 Senior World Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan, in October.

Spectator tickets will be available at the venue. Those unable to attend in person can watch the event live or on-demand at FloWrestling.com.

The 2026 World Team Trials Qualification & Procedures, originally published on October 13, 2025, specified the Final X competition date as June 13. The procedures were amended on January 29, 2026, establishing June 19 as the new date for Final X.

The request by Hidlay for accommodation to wrestle on the originally published Final X competition date was agreed upon by USA Wrestling and both athletes. All parties involved aligned on a date, location and schedule for the series to take place.

The remaining best-of-three Final X series to determine the Senior World Team in men’s freestyle and women’s freestyle will take place on Friday, June 19 at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
