Tournament Overview
Life is the returning NAIA team champions after a 70-point victory in 2025, with William Penn, Grand View, and Providence giving chase. The Running Eagles return the McBryde sisters (Zaynah, Jamilah, and Latifah), national champions who will compete in their final college tournament. The team is bolstered by returning national finalists Sara Savidge and Salyna Shotwell and a solid group of returning All-Americans.
William Penn defeated Life at the For Her Duals (23-20) after falling to the Running Eagles (24-18) at the National Duals. The Statesmen have a powerful line-up, led by national champions Mia Palumbo (110), Christianah Ogunsanya (117), and Esther Kolawole (138). Victoria Baez-Dilone (124) is a returning national finalist for King who has made multiple age-level World teams for Spain.
Providence has two returning national champions, with Erin Hikiji (103) and Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp (131) seeking a second title. The Argos reached the National Duals final, where they fell to Life, 32-11.
Grand View was one point behind William Penn at the Heart of America conference championships after notching a 22-19 win over the Statesmen at the National Duals. The Vikings are seeking their first individual national championship after finishing second last season.
