2026 KSHSAA (Kansas) Wrestling State Championship Schedule & Brackets
The 2026 Kansas Wrestling State Championship will take place across four locations Feb. 27-28, live on FloWrestling & the FloSports app. Here's the details.

If there were any questions about the grandeur or popularity of high school wrestling in Kansas, they’re all going to be answered this week when the 2026 state titles are decided across four locations.
A quartet of cities will welcome competitors and their guests for a segment of the 2026 Kansas State High School Activities Association Wrestling State Championship and become part of a history and tradition that span almost 100 years.
The first all-class state tournament was held in 1930, and the upcoming edition will see each of the four classifications head to Overland Park, Park City, Salina or Hays, Kansas, for two days of competition, Feb. 27-28.
Obviously, while true fans of the sport would want to be at all of the locations, that’s not possible. Instead, they can pick the one that makes the most sense and watch the other three unfold live on FloWrestling and the FloSports app or go back later and find them in the archives.

High school wrestling in Kansas is divided into four classifications for both the boys and girls – Class 6A, 5A, 4A and 3-1A – and the action really begins to heat up with the start of the “state tournament series,” which consists of the regional and state tournaments.
Regional competition for the Class 4A and 3A-1A girls took place over two days, Feb. 13-14, and the Class 6A and 5A showdowns were held only Feb. 14. Each featured two regional sites, with the last eight wrestlers standing in each weight class earning spots in the state event.
The boys were busy the following weekend with everyone competing Feb. 21.
Class 4A and 3-1A saw regional competition take place at four locations, with the top four finishers in each weight class qualifying for the state tournament. Class 6A and 5A each had two regional events, with the top eight placers in each weight class moving on to the state tournament.
