2026 OSAA (Oregon)Wrestling State Championships Schedule & Brackets
State titles are being handed out in the Pacific Northwest at the 2026 OSAA (Oregon) Wrestling State Championships, live on FloWrestling from Feb. 26-28.

Just a few days ago, hopeful high school wrestlers in Oregon were fighting to keep their seasons going just one more week, and the best of the best now will have the opportunity to wrestle for state titles.
The last competitors standing are headed to the 2026 Oregon School Activities Association/OnPoint Community Credit Union Wrestling State Championships at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon.
The event will take place Feb. 26-28, and every match once again will be broadcast live on FloWrestling and the FloSports app.

The boys will compete in five classifications – 6A, 5A, 4A, 3A and 2A/1A – while the girls will be divided into two – 6A/5A and 4A/3A/2A/1A.
With the classifications organized by enrollment/ADM (average daily membership), and each one being a different size, that affects how many athletes qualify for the state meet in each.
Here's how each classification looks:
- 6A – ADM 1,005+, 50 schools in seven leagues
- 5A – ADM 608-1,004, 33 schools in four leagues
- 4A – ADM 311-607, 30 schools in six leagues
- 3A – ADM 146-310, 49 schools in seven leagues
- 2A – ADM 75-145, 40 schools in six leagues
- 1A – ADM 10-74, 98 schools in eight leagues
Most recently, the wrestlers in Oregon had to endure their district competitions, which were held Feb. 13-14 (6A/5A girls; 4A, 3A, 2A/1A boys) and Feb. 20-21 (4A/3A/2A/1A girls; 6A, 5A boys).

What Are The Weight Classes For High School Wrestling In Oregon?
- Girls: 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 155, 170, 190, 235
- Boys: 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 144, 150, 157, 165, 175, 190, 215, 285

Here’s where you’ll be able to find the brackets for the 2026 OSAA Wrestling State Championships:
How Many Individuals Qualified For The 2026 OSAA Wrestling State Championships?
6A Boys
This classification features a 24-person bracket for each weight class, with the first 21 spots (three per league) going to automatic qualifiers by methods determined by each of the seven leagues.
Once the qualifiers are determined, the fourth-place finisher from each league is be “pooled,” and a defined criterion is applied to select three additional qualifiers.
5A Boys
This classification features a 16-person bracket, with each of the four leagues automatically qualifying four athletes per weight class.
4A Boys
This classification features a 16-person bracket for each of the 14 weight classes. Special districts within 4A have predetermined playoff spots allotted to them – Special District 1 – 4; Special District 2 – 4; Special District 3 – 4; Special District 4 – 4.
3A Boys
As we get into the small enrollment numbers, the size of the state brackets begins to shrink, too.
In this classification, there’s a 12-person bracket at the state meet. Each of the four Special Districts advances three competitors.
2A/1A Boys
This division features a 10-person bracket, with each Special District getting to send three qualifiers.
Once the qualifiers are determined, the fourth-place finisher from each league is be “pooled,” and a defined criterion is applied to select three additional qualifiers.
6A/5A Girls
Another classification with 16-person brackets and each Special District advancing four wrestlers per weight class.
4A/3A/2A/1A Girls

Thursday, Feb. 26
- 9:30 a.m. – Participant entrance opens (North Stage entrance)
- 9:30 a.m. – Officials’ meeting (Veterans Memorial Coliseum – Exhibit Hall)
- 9:30-10:30 a.m. – Packet pick-up (North Stage entrance)

Did You Know: Newberg Reigns In Oregon High School Wrestling
Newberg High School has set the bar in Oregon high school wrestling, collecting a record 15 team state titles (plus 11 runner-up finishes). The first title came in 1953, and the most recent was in 2025 (6A).
Culver and Lowell are second on the list with 14 team championships each.
Burns owns the record for consecutive victories, collecting 10 straight from 2002-2011 (3A).
More than 40 boys have won four individual state titles. One more can join the club in 2026.
The first year for wrestling state champions in Oregon was 1948.
The first girls state title in Oregon was claimed by Hood River Valley in 2019, while Thurston has three wins and two runner-up finishes. The girls wrestled in one classification from 2019-2022.
Five girls have won three individual state titles, with two able to win a fourth in 2026.
