Nike All-American Athlete Spotlight: Joyce, Marsh, Okocha, and McNulty Soar
January tournaments help Nike All-America candidates separate themselves as the 2026 prep season is in full swing.

This week's Nike All-American spotlight features four established prep stars who have started 2026 on fire. Learn more about the January accomplishments of Gray Joyce, Maddie Marsh, Ciyanna Okocha, and Corynne McNulty.
Gray Joyce Taking On All Comers
Gray Joyce is opting out of her prep folkstyle season to focus solely on freestyle. So far, the formula has worked. The 15-year-old freshman phenom made noise by winning Super 32 at 148 in October, with victories over two Who’s Number One participants. She also finished second at 16U Nationals in July. The Wichita, Kansas, native is entering college tournaments, finishing second at the York Open in Nebraska after forfeiting in the finals due to a concussion. Her 9-4 semifinal win over a three-time NAIA All-American is a barometer of how good she is.

Maddie Marsh Has One More To Go
Marsh marched through the 140-pound bracket at the 2026 Indiana state wrestling, securing two techs and two falls without surrendering a point. The Pendleton Heights High School junior won her third state title and is seeking her fourth in 2027. She is a familiar name at high-profile events, reaching the 135-pound Junior National finals (Fargo) last year and finishing third at the 2025 Warrior Women’s Open, where her only loss was to a 2024 Olympian.

Ciyanna Okocha Is No Joke
Okocha has been on a hot streak since finishing second at Ironman on December 13. She won the 170-pound bracket at Beast of the East a few days later and recently won Eastern States on January 11 with two techs and two falls. The Wyoming Seminary star had a busy 2025, finishing third at 16U Nationals and winning the Girls High School Recruiting Showcase with a thrilling 9-7 finals victory. Teammates rave about Okacha’s sense of humor, but the high school junior is no joke when she steps on the mat.

Corynne McNulty Took Eastern States By Storm
McNulty didn’t have the 2025 Super 32 tournament she wanted, but her recent Eastern States performance got her back on track. She won the 132-pound bracket with four techs and a fall in the finals. The Blair Academy junior finished third at the 2025 Wilkes Open in November, falling in the quarters to a college freshman before pinning her in the consolation finals. She finished second at the 2025 Journeyman Fall Classic in October, dropping a 7-6 match in the 134-pound finals. McNulty finished third at Junior Nationals last year after reaching the finals of the 16U division in 2024.
