The two-day, team-focused FHSAA Dual Wrestling State Championships will feature competition across three classifications – 3A, 2A and 1A.
Traditionally, the opening day of the meet includes the regional finals for each classification, while Saturday is when the semifinals and championship showdowns steal the spotlight.
In 2025, all three winning teams routed their opponents, with the titles going to South Dade (3A), Jesuit (2A) and Mater Lakes (1A).
South Dade has won the 3A title all but one year since the event’s inception in 2018, and Jesuit also has won multiple times (2020, 2025).
While the FHSAA Dual Wrestling State Championships was held for the first time in 2018, the first traditional state championship event took place in 1965.
