Four teams got together Friday at Francis Howell High School in St. Charles, Missouri, for Journeymen Wrestling’s 2025 Hustle in the Heartland.

The field included Nebraska, Long Island University, Brown and Missouri, with each program getting to battle against two other schools in separate head-to-head duals.

All of the action was broadcast live on FloWrestling and the FloSports app, and anyone who missed it live, or wants to go back and rewatch the highlights, can find the replay on both platforms.

Nebraska, ranked No. 7 in the most recent FloWrestling 2025-2026 NCAA DI Wrestling Rankings, picked up a pair of wins Friday at Hustle in the Heartland, downing Brown (44-3) and No. 13 Missouri (27-10) to improve to 5-2 on the young season.

Nebraska won 16 of 20 individual matches, including 10 bonus-point wins.

Before falling to the Cornhuskers, Missouri earned a shutout victory over LIU, 42-0. It was the first time since January 2024 that the Tigers blanked a fellow Division I opponent.

Missouri won 13 of 20 matches on the way to the 1-1 night and now sits at 6-5 this season.

Brown also split its two duals Friday, rallying back from the loss to Nebraska with a 29-17 win against Long Island.

The Brown Bears now are 2-1 this season, while Long Island slips to 0-6.

From St. Charles, Brown and Missouri will head to Edwardsville, Illinois, for Sunday’s eight-team Cougar Clash, hosted by Southern Illinois University.

LIU won’t be back in action until hosting Bloomsburg on Dec. 9, and Nebraska will celebrate Friday’s success with a two-week break. Ahead for the Huskers will be a couple of home duals against North Carolina (Dec. 19) and Oklahoma State (Dec. 21).
