All The Upsets From Week 3 Of The 2025-26 NCAA Season
All The Upsets From Week 3 Of The 2025-26 NCAA Season
All the upsets from week 3 of the 2025-26 NCAA D1 college wrestling season!

The National Duals Invitational presented by Paycom heaped a humongous pile of upsets onto the laps of D1 collegiate rankers across the nation. How will they unravel that mess and produce a coherent order of NCAA grapplers by tomorrow?
That's not the concern of this article! All we're doing here is listing all the upsets that happened in week 3 of the 2025-26 season and providing a modicum of context.
Week 2 Rankings | Week 2 Upsets | Week 1 Upsets
With regards to the aforementioned context, please be advised that upsets that occured in week 3 strictly according to the rankings may not be considered upsets by the end of the season. In fact, hey may not be considered upsets by Tuesday morning. So please remember that important caveat when perusing the subsequent inventory of 'upsets'.
Upsets By Unranked Wrestlers Who Have Ranked Teammates At That Weight Class
Because the NCAA only allows one wrestler per team per weight to enter the postseason, FloWrestling -- and every other ranking, including the Coaches' Poll -- only ranks one wrestler per team per weight. The reasons one teammate is ranked and not the other are myriad, and whether or not the result should be considered an upset is subjective, as is always the case, so we've included the ranked teammates in these week 3 occurrences for added context.
We're listing them here, but we've also added the ranked teammate for added context.

Upsets By Unranked Wrestlers
Like in the above occurrences, there are myriad reasons why a wrestler might be unranked. Perhaps they are true freshmen still expected to redshirt. Perhaps they are notable prospects just don't have enough college wrestling results on their resumes to warrant a ranking. Or maybe they just pulled off a true upset. In any case, here are all the instances of an unranked wrestler beating a ranked wrestler from week 3 in which the unranked wrestler does NOT have a ranked teammate at the same weight class.
