With FloWrestling's new free notifications, you'll get real-time updates sent straight to your phone via text, email or push notifications - from mat assignments to results - all in one place. Add athletes and teams to your Favorites list to stay connected all season long. You can set up notifications for:

• Brackets Posted
• Athlete Mat Assignments
• Athlete On-Deck Notifications
• Athlete Results

Setting up notifications is simple and easy - just follow the steps below to get started:

How to Set Up Free Notifications On The FloSports Mobile App

1. Open the FloSports mobile app on iOS or Android.
2. Click the three lines at the bottom of the app to pull up the sport selector.
   
   
3. Click on "Wrestling."
   
   
4. Click on "Schedule" at the top of the page
   
   
5. Find your event in the list or use the Search box to look it up. Click the Event Name to open the Event Hub.
   
   
6. On the Event Hub page, click MyWrestlers in the middle section of the page.
   
7. Click "+ Add Wrestlers" to pull up the teams roster for the event.
   
8. "Click on the name of the school" that the athlete(s) you want follow competes for. You can also search for the name of your athlete by using the magnifying glass icon in the top right-hand corner of the pop-up.
   
9. Select as many (or as few) athletes to follow within the event you have selected by clicking the checkbox next to each name. Then click "Save"
   
10. You can now set different colors for each wrester to highlight their progression through the bracket by clicking on the color next to each selected name.
    
    
11. To set alerts for a specific wrestler, click the bell icon on the left side of their name. A menu will slide open with alert options:
    1. Follow on Bracket - This highlights the selected wrestler in a live or completed bracket so you can easily track their progress throughout the tournament.
    2. Get Alerts - Choose to receive updates for Mat Assignments, On-Deck Notifications, Results, and more.
       
12. Get Alerts - Select this option and check the boxes for the type of alert you wish to receive, then choose how you'd like to get them - text message, email or push notifications (if you're using the FloSports app).
    1. Enable push notifications for the FloSports app
       
    2. Set what type of notifications you'd like to receive for each athlete. Mat assignments, On Deck and Results notifications are currently available. Brackets posted notifications and live stream notifications are coming soon. Click Save to save your notification settings for this specific athlete. 
       
    3. You can change your notification settings to include push, email, text message or all three by clicking the "Edit" button at the bottom of the page.
       
    4. Make sure to Click Save after adjusting your notification settings.
    5. You will see athletes with notifications enabled show up with a filled-in blue bell ico
13. If you no longer want to follow a wrestler or a team, click on the trash can icon on the right-hand side. The trashcan in the grey will delete the entire team, the minus person icon will delete a singular athlete.

How to Set Up Free Notifications On Desktop

1. From the FloWrestling home page, click the "Schedule" tab in the black navigation bar at the top of the page.
2. Find your event in the list or use the Search box to look it up. Click the Event Name to open the Event Hub.
3. On the Event Hub page, locate the menu on the left side. Click Teams or MyWrestlers
   1. If you click Teams, you'll see a list of teams. Click on a Team Name to open it and view that team's full roster.

1. Get Alerts - Select this option and check the boxes for the type of alert you wish to receive, then choose how you'd like to get them - text message, email or push notifications (if you're using the FloSports app).
   1. Enter your phone number or email address in the box provided.
      
      
   2. When you're done, click Save to confirm your settings.

How to Use MyWrestlers

1. After you've followed a wrestler, click MyWrestlers in the left menu to see everyone you're following for that event.
   1. Click the bell icon to update or add alerts.
   2. Click the weight class to jump directly to their bracket.
   3. Click the trash can icon if you no longer want to follow a wrestler.
2. To add more wrestlers, click Add Wrestlers in the top right corner of the page.
   1. Select a team to open its roster.
   2. Check the box next to each athlete you want to follow -- they'll automatically appear in your MyWrestlers list, where you can set up alerts for each one.

*Note: Some events may not allow alerts. Event directors choose their own settings, and alerts can only be sent when live data is being entered for that event.
