It's rare that two seniors who have been competing at a high level on the national scene meet at Who's Number One for the very first time, but that's what we'll see at 132 lbs when Senior World team member Jayden Raney squares off with Fargo champ Moses Mendoza. Here's everything you need to know before their October 11 showdown.

Jayden Raney is one of three high schoolers to make the Senior World team this year for the United States and the only one to do it in Greco-Roman. After he represents Team USA in Croatia, he'll turn his attention back to high school wrestling where he's had plenty of success in his career at Kentucky powerhouse Union County. Raney is a multiple time Fargo champion, an Ironman finalist, and a U17 Greco World gold medalist. He's known for his high-paced style, his ability to scramble, and his big move potential.

Jayden and his brother Jordyn will be the first set of twins to compete together at Who's Number One. Both are committed to compete for David Taylor at Oklahoma State.

Gilroy High School senior Moses Mendoza punctuated a fantastic junior year with a Fargo title in July. He also won titles last season at the California State Championships and the Reno Tournament of Champions and finished third at Super 32. Mendoza, like Raney, has a variety of offensive attacks, effective counters, and solid scrambling abilities. On top of that, he can threaten turns from the top position.

Mendoza will finish his high school career this year then join Sean Bormet and the Michigan Wolverines in 2026.
