Here's When The Junior Level Competes At Fargo Wrestling

One of the most highly anticipated high school wrestling competitions is just a few days away as Fargo, North Dakota will become a hub for the best junior wrestlers in the nation beginning on Saturday, July 12.

The U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals will host thousands of young athletes in both boy's and girl's freestyle and Greco-Roman brackets through the week. 

Some of the names fans can expect to hear include the No. 4 boy's junior wrestler in the country Bo Bassett and No. 2 girl's junior wrestler Taina Fernandez. 

Two divisions are slated to take place at Fargo, U16 and Junior, but here's the compiled schedule for just Junior events for both boys and girls.

Saturday, July 12

  • Session I – Junior Girls: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Sunday, July 13

  • Session III - Junior Girls: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Session IV – Medal Matches: 16U Girls & Junior Girls: 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM & Finals & Parade: 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Monday, July 14

  • Session V – Junior Boys Freestyle: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Tuesday, July 15

  • Session VII – Junior Boys Freestyle: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Wednesday, July 16

  • Session IX: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Consolation Rds
  • Session X – Medal Matches: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
