Early Lineup Look: 2025-26 Wyoming Cowboys
A breakdown of the Wyoming Cowboys for the 2025-26 NCAA season.

Wyoming returns four national qualifiers and one All-American on a team that shows promise entering next season. The Cowboys posted a 12-6 dual record, winning seven of their last eight.
Joey Novak is a returning All-American, finishing fifth at the 2025 NCAA Championships with a 29-7 season record. The New Prague, Minnesota, native is the nucleus of a team that will have battles at several weights, most notably 125, 133, and 174.
Head coach Mark Branch also picked up Christian Carroll at heavyweight. The Elkhart, Idaho, native has shown promise but has only competed 13 times in college with stops at Oklahoma State and Iowa State.
Wyoming was selected to participate in the National Duals Invitational on November 15-16, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“We have a very solid line up, especially at the upper weights, and we should have some fierce competition at the lower weights,” Wyoming coach Mark Branch said. “I love how these guys are coming together as a team with big expectations.”
