When Will US Open Wrestling Brackets Release? Here's What To Know

The 2025 USA Wrestling US Open is almost here, bringing the country's best wrestling talent to The Expo at World Market Center in Las Vegas, Nev., set to kick off on April 23.

The US Open serves as an annual pathway for wrestlers to make the U.S. World Team, with Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestlers aiming for a spot on the World Team, or a bye to Final X in June, the next step in the World Team process.

While the brackets for the US Open haven't been released just yet, entry lists have been flowing, and some of the best wrestlers at every level are already set to compete.

Bo Bassett, Jax Forrest, PJ Duke, Marcus Blaze, Wyatt Hendrickson, Austin DeSanto and David Carr are just a few of the high-profile names coming to Vegas next week.

As wrestlers prepare to fight their way to a spot on the U.S. World Team, here’s what to know about brackets for the 2025 USA Wrestling US Open.

When Do Brackets Release For US Open 2025?

Brackets for the 2025 USA Wrestling US Open will release during the week of April 20. Registration for all divisions closes the same day, with bracket releases following suit within the next few days.

While brackets have not been released yet, entry lists for the Senior, U20 and U17 divisions have been compiled and updated by FloWrestling in advance of the event.

When Does US Open Wrestling Begin?

The 2025 USA Wrestling US Open begins on Wednesday, April 23, with action kicking off in the U15 Greco-Roman and Masters Freestyle divisions at 1 p.m. Eastern.

Later that day, Session 2 will watch more U15 Greco-Roman and Masters Freestyle action, as well as High School Girls Showcase, at 7 p.m.

The following four days will see a gauntlet of matches kick off, as wrestlers aim to make it to the top. Action kicks off on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m.
