Lee Roper will join the Cowboy RTC in Stillwater, Oklahoma, as executive director and senior level RTC coach!
The announcement was made on Thursday afternoon on social media. Roper was an assistant coach of the Northern Iowa Panthers, where he coached for the last eight seasons.
The Cowboy RTC is affiliated with Oklahoma State University. Daton Fix is one of the more prominent OSU alums on the RTC roster, which also includes Zahid Valencia, Joey McKenna, and Roman Bravo-Young.
Cowboy head coach David Taylor has stated that improving the RTC was one of his main goals after he arrived in Stillwater.
Roper, originally from Madison, Georgia, was a four-year starter at App State University. He later co-founded the Compound Wrestling Club in Georgia in 2008 and coached youth and high school athletes until 2015.
