2025 Women's Nationals and World Team Trials: Stock Watch
Check out whose stock rose after the 2025 Women's Nationals and World Team Trials in Spokane, Washington, on April 4-6.

This year’s Women’s Nationals had lots of interesting results. Here’s whose stock increased after the most prestigious domestic age-level women’s freestyle tournament.
Emma Bacon, U17, 1st at 57 kg
Bacon surrendered one point in seven matches, including five techs and two falls, making her first age-level World team.
Sierra Chiesa, U20, 3rd at 55 kg
High schooler and Gannon commit fell to Everest Leydecker in the semifinals but defeated 2025 U23 national champ Elena Ivaldi, 13-2, in the consolation semis before pinning Grand Valley State All-American Aspen Blasko for third.
Abbi Cooper, U20, 1st at 53 kg
Cooper is ranked #17 at 110 pounds in the recently released national girls' high school rankings. That will change after winning the U20 World Team Trials. She lost her first match to Alex Waitsman in the best-of-three series before storming back for straight wins.
Heather Crull, U23, 1st at 50 kg and U20, 2nd at 50 kg
High schooler Heather Crull — ranked #3 at 105 — pinned 2024 NCWWC champion Ava Bayless twice in the U23 National finals and defeated 2023 U17 World champion Morgan Turner, 8-2, in the U20 World Team Trials semifinals. She also secured wins over 2024 NCWWC champion Emilie Gonzalez, 2024 NCWWC national finalist Kaelani Shufeldt, and future McKendree teammate Katey Valdez.
Christina Estrada, U17, 2nd at 49 kg
Estrada — ranked #8 nationally at 100 pounds — entered unseeded and blitzed her way to the U17 finals, where she fell in straight matches to U17 World champion Morgan Turner.
Jordyn Fouse, U20, 1st at 68 kg
Fouse didn’t wrestle at the recent Pennsylvania state championships to focus on her health but stormed back in a big way by defeating Elmira All-American Zoe Lints in the best-of-three finals.
Riley Hanrahan, U17, 2nd and U20 3rd at 65 kg
Hanrahan (#1 at 140) fell in the U17 finals but won by tech in the opening match against Violette Lasure (#1 at 145), lost 11-9 then got teched in the deciding match. She wrestled well in the U20 division, finishing third as the six-seed.
Keeley Kehrli, U20, 3rd at 72 kg
Kehrli arrived at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, with no freestyle experience. Now, she’s placing third at the U20 World Team Trials, giving U17 World champion Piper Fowler a tough 6-4 match in the semifinals.
Jayden Keller, U20, 7th at 50 kg
Keller, ranked #19 in the national high school girls' rankings at 110, competed in the competitive 50 kg U20 field and finished seventh place, achieving notable victories against college standouts.
Aubre Krazer, U20, 1st at 59 kg
Krazer teched her way to the U20 finals and outscored Bella Williams 19-2 in two matches.
Violette Lasure, U17, 1st at 65 kg
Lasure demonstrated resiliency during an impressive run to earn her first age-level World team position. She was down 9-6 to Kylie Whitaker in the second round before winning 13-9. She was teched in her first match against Hanrahan before winning the next two.
Everest Leydecker, U20, 1st at 55 kg
The Valiant Prep star looked better than ever, outscoring her opponents 56-0 in six matches, including a tech and fall over NCWWC finalist Clare Booe.
Lilly Luft, U20, 2nd at 62 kg
Luft had an injury-plagued sophomore season with limited action after finishing fifth at the 2024 National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships at 136 pounds. She reached the U20 World Team Trials finals where she fell to 2025 NCWWC finalist Haylie Jaffe.
Daniella Nugent, U20, 1st at 65 kg
Nugent was ranked second behind Hanrahan at 140, but she made her first World team by pinning her way to the finals — including a fall over Hanrahan — and defeating Cadence Diduch in straight matches.
Ella Poalillo, U17, 1st at 73 kg
Five pins and a tech in six matches — including two falls in the best-of-three finals — proved Poalillo has reached the next level.
Lorianna Piestewa, U20, 1st at 57 kg
Piestewa finished third at the 2025 National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships — dropping a quarterfinal match to two-time champ Amani Jones — and now she’s a U20 World teamer. She defeated NCWWC finalist Shelby Moore 5-3 in the quarters and defeated returning World teamer Carissa Qureshi, 10-6 and 8-0, in the finals.
Cristelle Rodriguez, 1st at 55 kg
Rodriguez is a two-time NAIA champion for Doane University, while Amani Jones, her finals opponent, was a two-time NCWWC (NCAA) champion for North Central College. Jones is a two-time age-level World bronze medalist and Rodriguez is a 2024 U20 World champion. Rodriguez won, 12-6 and 5-3, to take the U23 title.
Gabby Tedesco, U20, 3rd at 50 kg
Tedesco reached the 103-pound National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championship finals as a freshman then moved up seven pounds and finished third in the stacked 50 kg U20 bracket.
Sarissa Tucker, U17, 3rd at 50 kg
Tucker won her first match, lost her second then went on an eight-match tear to finish third.
Bella Williams, U20 and U23, 2nd at 59 kg
High schooler Williams trains at the Elite Accelerator in Colorado Springs. She reached the finals of the U23 Nationals and the U20 World Team Trials. She notched a 4-3 win over McKendree All-American Alex Szkotnicki in the U23 semis. She secured three falls in the U20 division before falling to Aubre Krazer in the best-of-three finals.
Lehigh University
One current and two future Mountain Hawks made U20 World Teams. Audrey Jimenez dominated the 50 kg bracket, while high school stars Abbi Cooper (53 kg) and Aubre Krazer (59) will join her soon in Bethlehem. Angelina Jiang (72 kg) and Genevieve An (76 kg) finished fifth. Please, Lehigh: make this a Division I wrestling program!

The Bearcats had 12 current or future wrestlers finish in the top eight at Women’s Nationals.
