Grand View Moves Closer To Another NAIA Title With Record-Tying 7 Finalists
Grand View moved closer to its 13th NAIA national title in 14 years by going 7-0 in the semifinal round Friday night.
Grand View reached the doorstep of its 13th national title in 14 years with a record-setting performance Friday at the NAIA Championships.
The top-ranked Vikings opened up a 51.5-point lead over second-place Life University, thanks to record-tying seven finalists, including a pair at 125 pounds.
Grand View went 7-0 in the semifinal round and finished the tournament’s second day with 176.5 points. Life (125) is followed by Southeastern (107), Doane (63.5) and Indiana Tech (60.5).
