Martinez and Hernandez are two skilled wrestlers who have extensive careers. Martinez is a two-time All-American and Hernandez has made the podium in four Pan-American Championships.

The wrestlers will face off in the seventh fight of the night in a 57-kg matchup.

Amanda Martinez Competed For North Central College Wrestling

Martinez finished her collegiate career at North Central College, becoming a two-time All-American and the all-time leader in career victories at the college.

Martinez now works as an assistant coach for the North Central Cardinals, joining the program after graduating.

Amanda Martinez Placed 3rd In The 2024 Ranking Series

Martinez took part in the 2024 Ranking Series at the Polyak Imre and Varga Janos Memorial in Hungary.

She took the bronze medal in the 55-kg competition.

Zeltzin Hernandez Won The U23 Pan-American Championships In 2024

Hernandez competed in the 2024 U23 Pan-American Wrestling Championships hosted in Colombia as part of the Mexico team.

She won the gold medal in the 55-kg championship.

Zeltzin Hernandez Placed 2nd In The 2024 U23 World Championships & Senior Pan-American Championships

Hernandez competed in the 55-kg weight class in both championships, claiming two silver medals for Mexico.
