Former Iowa Wrestling Star Zach Glazier Transfers To SDSU
Zach Glazier will wrestle for South Dakota State after five seasons with the University of Iowa.
Zach Glazier is moving to Brookings, South Dakota, for his senior year after five seasons with the University of Iowa. The Albert Lea, Minnesota, native completed a 20-4 season record and was a 2024 national qualifier at 197 pounds for the Hawkeyes.
This fills a need for the Jack Rabbits after the departure of Tanner Sloan, a two-time national placewinner and 2023 NCAA finalist. South Dakota State finished 13th at the 2024 NCAA Championships with four All-Americans.
"First and Foremost, I want to thank the Hawkeye community for the last five years and let them know I will always be proud to be a Hawkeye," Glazier said. "That being said, I am extremely excited about my opportunity at SDSU and look forward to working with Coach Hahn and the rest of the program."
