After going 3-0 at the 2024 Pan-American Olympic Qualifier, Roman Bravo-Young has qualified Mexico for the 2024 Olympics at 57 kg. As he has already earned the spot for Mexico, he will compete in Paris barring injury.

This was Bravo-Young's second international competition at 57 kg, notably 8 pounds lighter than his college weight of 133 pounds. Braov-Young made his 57 kg senior-level debut in January when he won a gold medal by winning 4 matches at the Henri Deglane in Nice, France. Bravo-Young was highly offensive at the Pan-Am Qualifier and outscored his 3 opponents by a combined score of 35-10.
