Penn State Wrestling (8-0) and Iowa Wrestling(10-1) will face off this weekend in a Dual Meet on Feb. 9 at 9 p.m. est. at Carver-Hawkeye Arena .The lasting rivalry between these two programs has only heightened the anticipation of what's poised to be a star-studded event.

Both Iowa and Penn State have a considerable number of ranked wrestlers per weight class going into the 2024 matchup. Penn State’s Carter Starocci, who is a two-time NCAA Champion and the No.1 pound-for-pound wrestler in the NCAA, is just one of the many big names to follow this weekend.The rosters of Iowa and Penn State both feature athletes from the 2023 NCAA Wrestling Championships last year who have proved themselves on the biggest stage.

Last year, Penn State took down Iowa 23-14 in front of a sold out crowd at the Bryce Jordan Center. Penn State will look to remain undefeated this weekend while Iowa looks for redemption and a shift in the rankings.
