Luke Stanich is a true freshman for Lehigh and is one of the nation's top 125-pounders. He recently won the Midlands Tournament in December where he defeated two-time All-American #8 Eric Barnett along with ranked wins over #9 Cooper Flynn, #26 Diego Sotelo, and #28 Eli Griffin. 125 pounds has been notably chaotic this year and Stanich was the 7th different wrestler at the weight to take over the #1 ranking this year. Despite the loss to Forrest, Stanich has established himself as a clear All-American threat for the Mountain Hawks.
