Jacob Levy, a powerful heavyweight from Carrollton, Georgia, has made his college decision. The Fargo champ has decided to wrestle for Rob Koll and the North Carolina Tar Heels following his graduation in 2025.

Levy won his Fargo title this summer after finishing as a runner up in 2022. In his two trips to the Fargodome, he's gone 11-1 with 7 wins by technical superiority and 3 falls. His only full length match this summer was a 15-9 finals victory over Iowa's Cooper Martinson.

North Carolina was Levy's final visit. Prior that that, he had been on campus at Iowa State, Purdue, and Lehigh. Ultimately, the Tar Heels won out. "It was so hard. I loved everybody I talked to, but I had to make the best decision for me." Despite strong connections with coach Sueflohn and Purdue and Zach Rey at Lehigh, UNC fit Levy's wrestling style better, and the campus is a whole lot closer to home.

Levy is a big piece in North Carolina's recruiting class. Before leaving Stanford, Rob Koll and company put together the #2 ranked recruiting class for 2024, and they'll surely look to recruit similarly loaded classes now that they're in Chapel Hill.
