AJ Ferrari Officially Visits University Of Iowa
2021 NCAA champion AJ Ferrari recently teased joining the Iowa Hawkeyes on social media.
Per his Instagram, NCAA Champion AJ Ferrari has taken an official visit to the University of Iowa.
With AJ’s brother Anthony currently living and training in Iowa City and his youngest brother Angelo currently committed to the Hawkeyes, many fans have speculated that AJ would end up in the black and gold as well.
AJ was an NCAA champion at 197 lbs as a true freshman in 2021 while at Oklahoma State and had a record of 19-1. He started off the 2022 season 10-0 before being sidelined with an injury. In July of 2022, Ferrari was dismissed from the Oklahoma State team.
Given that Ferrari recently posted about being 205 lbs, he will likely return to 197 lb weight class where he won his NCAA title. Iowa’s current 197 lb starter, Zach Glazier is 5-0 and ranked #25.
Ferrari hasn’t posted about visiting any other college.
Iowa's next event will be the Soldier Salute tournament in Corallville, Iowa.
