The UNI Wrestling team opens the season in Des Moines at the Grand View Open on Nov. 11 as the Panthers look to improve on their 16th-place finish at the 2023 NCAA Wrestling Tournament.

Northern Iowa opens the season as the No.14-ranked team in the FloWrestling preseason poll. UNI returns All-American Parker Keckeisen, the No. 6-ranked wrestler in the Pound-For-Pound FloWrestling rankings. He is the No.1-ranked wrestler at 184-pounds.

Keckeisen is looking to become just the third UNI wrestler to win an NCAA championship since 1963.

He’ll have plenty of competition, including from fellow Big 12 wrestler Dustin Plott, who is moving up from 174. UNI and Oklahoma State meet in a dual meet on Jan. 26 in Stillwater.

Before that dual meet, the Panthers will head to the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, which is streaming live on FloWrestling and FloSports.

Here’s a look at the UNI Wrestling schedule.
