USA Wrestling has announced the 2023 men's freestyle U23 world team. Check out the full roster below to see athletes who will travel to Tampere, Finland to compete at the U23 World Championships from October 23-29.

57 kg – Cooper Flynn (Seymour, Tenn./Southeast RTC/Titan Mercury WC)

61 kg – Julian Chlebove (Northampton, Pa./Sunkist Kids WC)

65 kg – Brock Hardy (Brigham City, Utah/Nebraska WTC)

70 kg – Sammy Sasso (Nazareth, Pa./Ohio RTC/Titan Mercury WC)

74 kg – Keegan O’Toole (Hartland, Wis./Tiger Style WC)

79 kg – Dustin Plott (Tuttle, Okla./Cowboy RTC)

86 kg – Aaron Brooks (Hagerstown, Md./Nittany Lion WC/Titan Mercury WC)

92 kg – Jacob Cardenas (Kearny, N.J./Spartan Combat RTC/Titan Mercury WC)

97 kg – Isaac Trumble (Springfield, Neb./Wolfpack, WC/Titan Mercury WC)

125 kg – Wyatt Hendrickson (Newton, Kan./Air Force RTC)

Cooper Flynn, Julian Chlebove, Brock Hardy, Dustin Plott, Jacob Cardenas, and Wyatt Hendrickson all earned their spot on the U23 World Team by winning U23 Nationals on June 4. Sammy Sasso, Keegan O'Toole, Aaron Brooks, and Isaac Trumble qualified for the team by making Team USA's senior national team (finishing in the top 3 of the weight class).

Keegan O'Toole, Aaron Brooks, Jacob Cardenas, and Wyatt Hendrickson all have past experience on age-level world teams. O'Toole and Brooks are notably the only wrestlers to have won a world title. O'Toole won a junior world title in 2021 while Aaron Brooks won a cadet world title in 2017. Brooks then followed up with a junior world silver medal in 2018. Jacob Cardenas took home a silver medal from last year's U23 World Championships while Wyatt Hendrickson finished in 5th place at the Junior World Championships in 2021.
