In one of the biggest upsets in NCAA wrestling history, Purdue's Matt Ramos made the NCAA finals and shocked the world by pinning Spencer Lee.
It was a wild back-and-forth match that saw Ramos get out to an early lead with a takedown and two nearfall in the first period. Lee chose top in the second and picked up four nearfall. Ramos chose neutral and, after getting a takedown, escaped and took Lee down to his back for the fall.
