Chicago Galaxy International Wrestling Club Aiming to Become Magnet for Elite Athletes

Today world medalist Stevan Micic and his lifelong coach and father Steve, have announced their intent to create a unique platform for elite freestyle wrestlers and sponsors from all over the world. The "Chicago Galaxy International Wrestling Club" is striving to grow freestyle wrestling. Through the inclusion of wrestlers representing various nations, our athletes will be sharing and exchanging wrestling culture, knowledge, techniques and best practices.

"I am excited to officially announce the opening of the new wrestling club that my father and I started. The Chicago Galaxy International Wrestling Club is a nonprofit organization that will provide resources to train and fund elite level wrestlers representing diverse countries in their pursuit of Olympic and World medals. Our vision is to create a world class training environment focusing ONLY on Freestyle! We want to be a magnet for elite athletes no matter what country they are from! Chicago is a hub for international travel and with our partnership with @beatthestreetschicago we have successfully hosted our first training camp. As athletes continue to prepare for the USA World Team Trials, European Championships as well as the World Championships in September, we will continue hosting more camps in collaboration with RTCs across the country in order to create the perfect environment for freestyle success at the highest level."
