Perrenial NAIA power Life University just received a boost to next season's line-up in advance of the 2023 NAIA Championships. Asia Ray, a five-time All-American and two-time national champion, is transferring to Life University from Wayland Baptist.

“I'm super excited to start my new life with Life University," Ray said. "I can’t wait to learn from two of the best, Coach Ashley and Christian Flavin, as I know they will help me grow into the best version of myself. I can’t wait to thrive with my new team and make you all proud."

Ray will enroll at Life during the fall of 2023 in the Masters of Positive Psychology Program. She will wrestle the first quarter of the season unattached and will have a Life singlet on for the 2024 National Duals.

The Arlington, Texas, native, will continue as a graduate assistant and work toward her goal of becoming an Olympian in 2028 after she completes her final year of eligibility.
