David Carr Makes His College Decision
David Carr has decided on where he will further his academic and athletic career.
Another top recruit comes off the board as No. 1 David Carr made his verbal commitment to Iowa State live on FloWrestling on Wednesday.
Carr will join new head Kevin Dresser as a key piece of his first recruiting class for the Cyclones.
Carr is a four-time state champion (once in Kentucky, three times in Ohio) who recently defended his top ranking at Who's #1 for the second year in a row. He is also a two-time Ironman champ, a Fargo winner, Beast of the East champ, and a cadet world bronze medalist.
As the fifth-ranked recruit in the class of 2018, he projects as a 165/174-pounder on the next level.
