They've gone head-to-head in freestyle in the Cadet World Team Trials finals, at the Junior National tournament in Las Vegas, and Fargo just a few months ago.
Now, David Carr and Joe Lee will battle for the No. 1 spot at 160lb in the Snakepit on October 8.
So far it's been a back-and-forth battle between the two. Carr won in the finals to claim the spot on the Cadet World Team a year ago, and then Lee got revenge this year in Las Vegas. Carr got the better of Lee once again just a few months ago in Fargo, and that's what leads us to pairing them up at Who's #1.
Lee, a Penn State commit, went on to finish as the runner-up at the Junior National tournament after taking out Carr and finished in third place in Fargo this year. He's also a multiple time Indiana state champion as well.
His counterpart, Carr, has a bunch of state titles himself to go along with a third-place finish at the Junior World Team Trials and his Fargo stop sign that he took home this year.
This will settle the feud between two guys who have each claimed victory over each other.
