Recruiting season is about to heat up. July 1 is just around the corner, and coaches are gearing up to hit the road and give their pitches to the best wrestlers in the country. The top remaining recruit of the class of 2017 is Daton Fix. He has made cadet and junior world teams and boasts FloNationals and Fargo titles, as well.
Fix is the No. 3 overall for the class of 2017 behind Spencer Lee and Yianni Diakomihalis, and the No. 2 126-pounder in the country. Fix has notched wins over Stevan Micic, Spencer Lee, Yianni Diakomihalis, NIck Suriano, Rudy Yates and several other elite lightweights. He is best known for his inside trip, but has emerging leg attacks. In freestyle, his trap-arm gut has been a money-maker for him, too.
Fix has narrowed his school list down to the following: Oklahoma State, North Carolina, Penn State, Ohio State and Nebraska.
