One of my favorite age-level tournaments of the year has arrived - the Junior World Team Trials. The nation’s best high school upperclassmen and college underclassmen will put it on the line for a chance to represent their country overseas.

The U23 Nationals and U20 World Team Trials brackets will be both massive (mostly the U23 ones) and stacked with some of the most talented and credentialed college wrestlers in the country.

What's tougher than a matchup against one of the top wrestlers in the country? A matchup against an opponent that good who's also your training partner and one of your best friends on the planet. That's the challenge Anthony Knox and Leo DeLuca have signed up for on September 2nd at Who's Number One.

This year's U17 US Open is as deep as any tournament in recent memory. There aren't many top high schoolers who haven't registered, so wrestling fans should expect to see some of the best high school action of the year with a whole lot at stake. Here's what to expect at every weight.

On the Senior level, the US Open will set the stage for Final X, but there's plenty to watch at the U17 and U20 divisions as well. The U17 division will conclude with a best-of-three series that will decide the World Team, shake up the high school rankings, and establish some wrestlers' cases to be in Who's Number One. High Schoolers in the U20 division will compete against other elite peers but will also test themselves against guys who have been seasoned in college rooms for a year or two.

This weekend's Journeymen World Classic features deep weights full of both domestic and international talent. Below are lists of all the ranked Americans, the complete international field, and a full registration list.

This year's Escape the Rock pre-seeds are out, and wrestling fans have some excellent matches to look forward to. The most enticing potential final is between Who's Number One alumni Anthony Knox and Marc-Anthony McGowan who have never met in their high school careers. Every fall we see some of the best high schoolers in the country travel to Greensboro, N.C. to battle it out for a Super 32 belt. It seems every season that the brackets at Super 32 become deeper and deeper, with many ranked guys entered into each weight class. This weekend will be no different. Currently, there are over 160 guys ranked in the top 20 in their weight class entered for the 2022 Super 32.

There's nothing quite like Super 32. This year's field includes over 60% of the nation's 280 top-twenty-ranked wrestlers. That group includes eight of 14 #1's and six weights where the two highest-ranked wrestlers at the weight could square off for the number one spot. Who's Number One gives college wrestling fans a glimpse of what they can look forward to in just a few years on the NCAA stage. we've seen matchups between NCAA finalists like Jason Nolf vs Joey McKenna in 2013, Nick Suriano vs Daton Fix and Zahid Valencia vs Myles Martin in 2014, and Nick Lee vs Sammy Sasso in 2016. The athletes at Who's Number One will make their mark in college wrestling. Get ready for Friday's action by seeing who's already committed, and read about the uncommitted recruits who your team might snag.

At the lightest weights, we'll see a Who's Number One clash between the top-ranked 106-pounder, Christian Castillo, and the top-ranked 113-pounder, Anthony Knox. After his silver medal performance at the U17 World Championships, Castillo has decided to take a match up at 113 lbs against Fargo and Super 32 champ Knox.

In case there was any doubt left as to who the most savage high school kid in the country is....allow me to dispel that doubt by announcing that Anthony Knox is bumping up to 120 for Fargo.
