Two weeks after the official start of the Division I season when practice began, we were treated to wrestle-offs from three of the nation's best programs, as well as our first glimpse of the newly minted Little Rock squad.

The wrestle-offs for #3 Ohio State provided an initial glimpse of the Covelli Center to the Buckeye faithful. Ninth-ranked Lehigh held their annual Brown & White wrestle-offs in the "Snake Pit," and #20 North Carolina showed off the latest bunch of Tar Heels in their return to Carmichael Arena. Also doing wrestle-offs tonight were the North Dakota State Bison.

Below are complete results from each team's wrestle-offs tonight.

#3 Ohio State

125: Malik Heinselman 7-2 over Hunter Lucas

133: Jordan Decatur 13-4 over Dylan Koontz

141: Luke Pletcher 7-3 over Quinn Kinner

149: Sammy Sasso 20-7 over Trey Grenier

157: Elijah Cleary 4-2 (TB1) over Jaden Mattox

165: Carson Kharchla 3-2 over Ethan Smith

174: Rocky Jordan 2-1 (TB1) over Kaleb Romero

184: Zach Steiner 5-4 over Gavin Hoffman

197: Kollin Moore 19-4 over Tyler Stein

True freshman Carson Kharchla took out #12 Ethan Smith at 165, and his fellow true freshman Jordan Decatur won his wrestle-off as well. At 184, Zach Steiner upset #17 Gavin Hoffman. Top-ranked Kollin Moore dominated 19-4, and #5 Sammy Sasso put up 20 in a 13-point major over Trey Grenier.

#9 Lehigh

125: Brandon Paetzell 6-2 over Luke Resnick

133: Nick Farro 4-3 (TB1) over Connor McGonagle

133: Jaret Lane 7-6 over Joe Lobeck

141: Ryan Pomrinca 6-4 over Malyke Hines

149: Jimmy Hoffman 5-2 over Luke Karam

157: Josh Humphrey 9-0 over AJ Burkhart

165: Edmond Ruth 9-5 over Chase Gallik

165: Brian Meyer 5-4 over Chase Gallik

165: Luca Frinzi 5-4 over Trey Cornish

184: Chris Weiler 17-2 over Eli Grape

197: Elijah Jones 6-0 over Andrew McDonald

True freshman Edmond Ruth won his match over Chase Gallik, and fellow first-year Connor McGonagle took likely starter Nick Farro into tiebreakers. At 157, #7 Josh Humphreys rolled to a 9-0 shutout and #20 Chris Weiler teched Eli Grape at 184. Jaret Lane was down 5-1 heading into third but won 7-6 over Joe Lobeck at 133.

141: Zach Sherman 6-5 over Gabriel Tagg

We got some good fireworks at the lower weights with Jaime Hernandez beating Joe Heilmann and Zach Sherman taking a tight one over Gabriel Tagg. Kennedy Monday returned to the mat with a win at 165 and Clay Lautt took control of the 184lb spot for the Tar Heels.
