Kyle Lawson Verbals to Wisconsin
The 7th ranked wrestler in the country at 152lbs, Kyle Lawson, has chose to continue his academic and athletic career at the University of Wisconsin. Lawson currently is #10 on the Sophomore Big Board. Lawson, going into his junior year of high school has already been an Ohio state champ, and has taken 3rd place at Flonationals. Here is how he captured 3rd place at Flonationals over Jacob Restrepo.
We reached out to Kyle about his decision to become a Wisconsin Badger:
"I just want to be the best I can be on and off the mat and Wisconsin is the place I feel I can achieve that the best."
Lawson will be a huge addition to the Badgers in 2017. Wisconsin has recruited Ohio and particularly St. Paris Graham extremely well. Isaac and Ben Jordan, Ryan Taylor and others have contributed to Wisconsin lineups after graduating from SPG.
