Multiple sources have reported that Jason Mester, the head wrestling coach at Bloomsburg, has resigned.
A brief meeting was held today to inform the team of his decision.
Mester had manned the post since 2013, but the squad had fallen on hard times. Current Buffalo Head Coach John Stutzman left Bloomsburg in 2013 for Buffalo.
Since that time, the program underwent a complete overhaul and had struggled to regain its footing. In Mester's first year he sent 6 to the NCAA Tournament but none since. The team has finished a distant last in the EWL the last two seasons.
Marcus Gordon, who has been with Bloomsburg for three seasons, is the Huskies current Assistant Coach.
