He finished his high school wrestling career as a 4x Nebraska State Champion and was headed to wrestle at the University of Wyoming for head coach Mark Branch.

After his fourth state title but before graduation, Doyle was driving his car down a country road before he lost control and smashed into a pole. The accident forced Doyle to have left leg amputated.

This caused a lot of physical and emotional stress to Doyle who thought he knew what his future looked like, but suddenly all of that had changed. He immediately had complete support from Coach Branch and the Wyoming staff. That, coupled with his friends and family, helped Doyle through a really rough patch in his life which included bouts with depression.

Today Doyle is fully recovered and is going to school and wrestling at the University of Wyoming.

The accident happened in April of 2015 and Doyle wrestled, and won, his first match back in November of 2016.
