This weight may take the top spot for most open going into the series. At the top, there are three wrestlers who can each make the case for the top spot in the rankings. Stewart, outside of a one-point loss to 2A top-ranked Mayora, has been flawless this season. Fetterolf is flawless thus far on the season but does not have the same strength of schedule that the other two have. Enright, who is coming off an injury, has done so with several impressive wins and with a one-point loss to Mayora. To further muddy the waters, both Fetterolf and Enright are coming off competitive wins over Carrigan who also remains a strong contender at this weight. For now, with the exception of Enright moving up with a head-to-head win, they stay in the same order and more than likely this one will get settled in Champaign.

Showdown at Arlis, Fetterolf won, Carrigan placed second and Konder finished third. Enright, who placed second, gets a win over Carrigan at CCL. Kirchner won Illini and MSL. Young beats Swan at Geneseo. Luce won DVC.
