Caleb Tyus is off to a 15-4 start to the season and was fourth at the Midlands Championships. Tyus has picked up wins over Kyle Schickel and Johnny Lovett over the last few weeks to move up to the #2 ranking at 149 pounds. Cade Balestrini dropped down from 157 pounds for Bloomsburg and picked up wins over both Nathan Higley and Lovett at Midlands on his way to a seventh-place finish. Higley was eighth at the Midlands behind Balestrini. Lovett has been struggling for Central Michigan with losses to Tyus, Schickel, and Balestrini to drop all the way down to the #10 ranking in the MAC at 149 pounds.
