In his first season for Rider, Quinn Kinner picked up several ranked wins and won the MAC Championship at 141 pounds. Kinner will be making the move up to 149 pounds this season and is a slight favorite in a deep field. Kody Komara has qualified for the NCAA Championships the past two seasons and won the MAC title at 149 pounds last season with wins over Dashawn Farber, Corbyn Munson, and Marcus Robinson to earn the #2 ranking at this weight class. Robinson was third at 149 pounds in the MAC last season with a win over Munson and went 1-2 at the NCAA Championships. The top six guys in the weight class are all ranked in the top 33 in the country at 149 pounds and have the ability to pick each other off throughout the season.
