Bernie Truax has been excellent for Cal Poly the last two seasons, finishing fourth at both 174 and 184 pounds at the NCAA tournament. Truax will be making the move up in weight once again to 197 pounds this season and will be an interesting addition to an already awesome 197-pound field. Four-time NCAA qualifier Kordell Norfleet has been among the top 197 pounders in the country the last three seasons, but he’s still searching for his first NCAA podium finish. Norfleet made the decision to return to Arizona State for his final season and will be looking to capitalize on his last chance to become an All-American.
