Yaraslau Slavikouski finished fourth in a loaded Midlands bracket with wins over #19 Michael Wolfgram and HM Ben Goldin. Lewis Fernandes took a tough loss to #3 (at 197) Yonger Bastida at the National Collegiate Duals, as Bastida bumped up in order for Iowa State to have their best chance to win the dual and that win clinched the dual for Iowa State to move on to the finals against Penn State. Grady Griess picked up a win over HM Jaron Smith in the dual against Maryland. Cory Day made the finals of the Southern Scuffle with a win over HM Jonah Niesenbaum before falling to #8 Zach Elam to finish as the runner-up at 285 pounds.
