2022-23 EIWA Rankings

165 pounds

Quincy Monday had a standout season for Princeton last season, making the NCAA finals before falling to Ryan Deakin. Monday will be making the move up to 165 pounds this season and adds to the depth of arguably the toughest weight class in the country. Julian Ramirez was sort of up and down throughout last season, but still picked up strong victories over NCAA champion Shane Griffith and All-Americans Zach Hartman and Cameron Amine. Joshua Ogunsanya split matches with Ramirez last season, but lost the most recent match in the consolations of the NCAA tournament. This weight class should be very competitive throughout the season, with the top six guys ranked in the top 33 in the country to start the season.
